Steamboat’s Apres and Fun Lodging Options
If you haven’t skied Steamboat yet – you’re in for a great adventure! Located in the northwest corner of the state, Steamboat Springs boasts the fourth highest rise in Colorado. There are more than 160 ski trails here, in what is considered one of the top skiing destinations in the state.

But, this Olympic-sized rink also offers bumper cars on ice – yep, these battery-powered tubes are controlled by two handles allowing drivers to maneuver around the rink while knocking into other cars.
Downtown Steamboat is also known for its restaurants and nightlife. There are close to 50 downtown eateries, many offering live music, and locals boast that the atmosphere is always social. Steamboat supports its local agricultural community, offering locally raised beef, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Getting to Steamboat from almost anywhere in the country should not be a problem. There are some 11 major airports offering nonstop flights into the Steamboat/Hayden Airport with convenient connections from hundreds of other locations.
