Holiday Valley Ski Resort- Where the Fun Begins

It’s time to get those skis or board out from the closest. Wipe off those cobwebs and get ready to have some fun at Holiday Valley this winter. Over the past 60 years, Holiday Valley has been a ski resort favorite among people in the East. Holiday Valley Ski Resort is located in Ellicottville, New York which is just about an hour south of Buffalo, New York.  These days, the resort has 13 lifts, 60 slopes, 3 base lodges, 2 hotels, a golf course, pools, an aerial park, mountain coaster and an abundant amount of family fun amenities.

Holiday Valley has slopes for all levels of skiers and boarders. For the experts choose from any of the 60 trails and to challenge your talent enroll in an upcoming competition. Either choice will improve your skills to be polished with the very best. Intermediate levels can get on most of the runs at Holiday Valley. If you are looking to get better at hitting those boxes start at the Rail Park at the base of Mardi Gras trail. Beginners are advised to stay on the green runs of course and to possibly try a lesson. Especially if this is your first time skiing at Holiday Valley Resort. The employees are trained to teach and will gladly assist you in where to go and learning the resort. Lessons include Mountain Adventures (ages 3-11), Adult Ski and Snowboard Lessons (ages 12 and up), and a First time Learn to Ski or Ride Packages (ages 12 and up).

Now skiing and snowboarding aren’t the only things you can do at Holiday Valley. Try Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing at Holiday Valley. To rent skis, boots, and poles it is only $20 and $15 dollars to get a lift up on Mardi Gras, Tannenbaum, or Cindy’s slopes. Another fun activity to do while at Holiday Valley on the weekends is the Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster. One ride is only $6 all day is $20, and you can purchase these tickets with your lift tickets. Tubing is another option for fun at Holiday Valley. The Tubing season starts December 21st and goes through March. A Tubing season pass is $75.00 an all-day pass is $25.75. Holiday Valley has plenty of fun to offer all ages!
