Copper Offers a Host of New Amenities

Copper Mountain offers a web of trails within its four distinct turfs. Along with free in-bounds cat skiing, the world’s largest Superpipe, night skiing and snow tubing, there’s much to get into at the resort. If you already sing Copper’s praises, this year’s upgrades will inspire you even more.

Copper’s updates to its mobile app, Sherpa, will help make skiing even more social. If you didn’t know, Sherpa serves as a mobile on mountain guide – the first of its kind. Sherpa tracks a user’s speed, runs and vertical feet covered on the mountain. Sherpa now uses ski history to recommend new terrain. Users can set whether to receive notifications, as well as what time of day to receive them.

Sherpa’s help will open more trails to explore within your ability levels. Headphones will enable you to listen for celebrity tips, sponsored easter eggs, and discover secret stashes.

The app is great for planning a group or family trip. You can map out routes in advance, and leave audio messages that are custom made for your group to hear. If you like to entertain, the app provides you with the opportunity to gain your own public following. Doing so is worth the effort, because it could land you a free season pass, or the opportunity to name a trail.

The tasty new food and drink options at Copper Mountain are even easier to get to this season. Guests can now wake up to a full-service Starbucks Coffee by the American Eagle lift. Skiers can also fill up on Belgian waffles at The Belgian Bean, now below the American Flyer lift. For lunch, all types of fish, quesadillas and salads will be on hand at Mahi Fish Tacos next in the Center Village.

Copper is awaiting approval on plans to install a new lift at Tucker Mountain. The terrain is now accessible only by snowcat.

Copper ‘s new amenities will be there to greet you  on opening day Friday Nov. 6th. Snowmaking has already begun at the resort.
