Blue Mountain is an exciting ski area to visit in Pennsylvania. It sits high in the Poconos at nearly 1,300 feet and boasts the state’s highest vertical and some of its longest runs. With nearly 40 trails and 16 lifts to serve them, the resort has terrain for every skier. After and in-between ski days, there are lots of things to do in and around Blue Mountain.
This season, Blue Mountain guests have yet another diversion to enjoy after a fun ski day. Now diners at the Slopeside Pub and Grill will soon be able to partake in delicious food and a drink all year long in the restaurant’s newly remodeled indoor dining area, part of the Summit Lodge’s huge multi-million dollar expansion.
Included in the restaurant expansion are two new kitchens to enable the capacity to provide hot and fresh, hand prepared meals and snacks for guests at the resort. The renovation will allow Slopeside Pub & Grill to increase their seating capacity to accommodate 500 guests at a time, with seating near one of two indoor grand fireplaces, at the full service bar with flat screen TVs, or at their time-honored large outdoor deck.
Along with the structure, the menu is also being revamped to offer upscale items like Drunken Clams, Tuscan Shrimp Carbonara, and seasonal dessert shooters. A kid’s menu is also available for guests traveling with their families.
Slopeside is one of a dozen on or near mountain dining options offered by the ski resort. The diverse collection of dining options range from quick eats to après hangouts with live music, or sit down restaurants like the Slopeside Pub & Grill with full bar and table service.
Whether seated indoor or outdoor at the newly renovated Slopeside Pub & Grill, guests can enjoy the breathtaking views even more comfortably this season at the new restaurant. The building is scheduled for a Jan 1st re-opening depending on snow conditions.
