What Makes Idaho Unique?

There’s more to Idaho than you think. Most people who live or visit Idaho comment on the beauty and exanding natural settings. Boise is often described as the up-and-coming city, comparable to Portland and Denver, with arts, dining, music, and culture. The state offers white-water rafting, hiking, fishing, wineries and breweries, boating, guided tours, natural hot springs, rock climbing, ice skating, snowmobiling, casinos, and let’s not forget fantastic skiing.

Major Ski Resorts

Everyone knows Sun Valley, a landmark ski destination near Ketchum. From a base of 6,800 feet, the mountain rises 3,400 vertical feet. Ski down over three miles on runs and on any of the 75 ski trails. Sun Valley is an awesome place for winter sports and après ski. The area’s lodging and accommodations include private home and condominium rentals, hotels in all price ranges, even the opportunity to experience a heated yurt.
