Ski Levels

There is something unique about this mountain's location receiving 140 inches—nearly 12 feet—of natural snow each year. Then a top-notch grooming team takes over with the biggest airless snow-making facility in the region. The result is nonstop excitement. The mountain's runs will keep beginners and intermediate skiers challenged the entire vacation, and more expert skiers will enjoy the chance to take it easy between runs down the advanced and expert trails. The grooming staff are constantly moving things around the mountain, building up the bumps, always improving the ski experience and keeping it interesting. They work hard at making sure visitors enjoy themselves and that it continues to be fresh, even for returning guests.

Après Ski

The watchword here is obviously fun. The vibe of excitement is all around you, both young and seasoned faces are glowing with smiles all around. Everybody's stoked! At the end of the day, it's not about the statistics, it's about the good times you can relive and talk about when you get back home. By that, Wisp gets pretty good marks; having a great time – isn't that what a great ski experience is all about? This is a four-season resort area and the town of McHenry has loads of options for great dining experiences. Check out the Mountain State Brewing Company and the Pine Lodge Steakhouse & Saloon.
