Loon Mountain Ski Vacation Guide

Ski Levels

Loon Mountain features over 350 acres of skiable terrain and more than 26 miles of runs to explore, the majority of runs are suitable for intermediate levels, but there are also many runs for beginners and expert skiers. The three mountains offer a big air bag to practice jumps, loacted on Seven Brothers trail, bumps and tree-lined trails, as well as a great terrain park for riders and free skiers. The resort privdeds child-care, ski lessons, ski rentals, tubing, and snowshoeing. The mountain has slope-side lodging and a variety of dining options ranging from grab-and-go to upscale bistros and lounges.

Après Ski

The White Mountain National Forest is well known for being a solid resort community, both on the slopes and in the nearby resort towns of Lincoln and Woodstock. Visitors will enjoy a variety of pubs, bars, clubs, and restaurants dotted along the slope an in town. The Mountain Club on Loon provides convenient lodging and beautiful rooms with modern amenities and the Woodstock Inn is reputed for being the best restaurant in the area. Rider’s Guide

This ski area has over 350 acres and 26 miles of runs for boarders to shred. In fact, it has been named as some of the best snowboarding in the East. Twelve lifts will get you all over the three peaks and to the nine terrain parks spread throughout the resort.

Parks and Pipes

Ranked in the top five for Parks and Pipes by the readers of Transworld Snowboarding Magazine and a top pick for freestyle skiing in the East by Freeskier Magazine. The largest park contains 3,600 feet of jibs, rails, and jumps, as well as their massive 18-foot superpipe.

Out of Bounds

The area is a very popular place during throughout the year due to the proximity to other ski resorts nearby. On the slopes, the resort offers tubing and snowshoeing, as well as ice skating and indoor rock wall climbing. Off the slopes there is shopping, bars, restaurants and clubs to experience once the mountain has closed for the night.

Hangout & Hookup

There are many different places to hangout while at Loon Mountain, whether it be on the slopes or in the nearby resort towns of Lincoln and Woodstock.
