Apex Mountain – Ski Experience

Apex Mountain is perfect for even the most discerning powder connoisseur—for those that live for the rush of being waist deep after a big snow is absolutely going to love Apex Mountain. This understated gem provides visitors with some of the best powder on the continent. The resort's relative anonymity means lift lines are short or non-existent, which comes as a relief to true powderhounds who are weary of fighting the crowds. It's all about the ski experience, and you'll get more and better at Apex than just about anywhere.

Ski Levels

Apex Mountain is all about the skiing. It is true that there's a small village at the base, which contains shops, a grocery and liquor store, bars and restaurants. However, it is their passion for outdoor snow sports is where it really shines. They host night skiing, they have snowmobile rentals, and have created an awesome outdoor ice skating loop for their guests' enjoyment. Across the board, Apex Mountain delivers maximum fun, minimum wait, and a whole mountain of good times.

Apex is just north of the U.S. Border, which means it can get seriously cold up there. This region of B.C. is farther east and inland, which is in part why they receive so much fluffy powder each year, but it also means that the area doesn't share the same mild climate that they get Vancouver. Light layers, a powder jacket, UV protection goggles, a mask and gators are essential most of the time. With powder this deep, you may prefer overalls as well. Beginner skiers need not worry about the sheer amount of terrain, they have an excellent ski school complete with consummate professionals and lessons catered to all ages and ability levels.

Few places hold as much promise as Apex Mountain. Treat yourself to a truly epic mountain and an awesome ski experience at Apex Mountain Resort. Let the Canadians show you their world-famous hospitality while you enjoy some of the very best powder in North America. As an added bonus check out the categories and activities listed to find great lift ticket deals and ski and stay specials throughout the season. You're sure to fall in love with Apex for all that it has to offer.
