Riders Guide – Cannon Mountain is a thrilling and memorable New Hampshire resort with a total of 9 lifts, comprising of 1 70-passenger Aerial Tramway, 1 Detachable Quad Chair, 2 Fixed Grip Quad Chairs, 3 Triple Chairs, 1 Rope Tow and 1 Wonder Carpet that take you up to 45 trails where you can snowboard on their longest run of 12,150 feet over 150 inches of powder. Their trails are rated 14% for Beginners, 46% for Intermediates, and 40% for Advanced.




Parks and Pipes – When expert snowboarders have had enough of the white-knuckle natural thrills up on Avalanche, Paulie’s Folly and Zoomer, they can head on down to Cannon’s terrain park on the lower section of Toss-Up. It’s one of the very few terrain parks in the country that actively solicits input from the riders into the design, so it’s always evolving, but constantly is challenging and exciting.

The Deal – Fly into Boston’s Logan Airport and then drive the 150 miles to Cannon and the Franconia area. Driving in from I-93 heading north, Cannon is visible from I-93 just north of Franconia Notch State Park. Take Exit 34B for the Tramway Base Station, Exit 34C for the Peabody Base Area. Manchester Airport is about 90 miles away from Cannon but is much smaller than Boston.
