You can enjoy a sleigh ride, or take some time off the slopes and play on their outdoor skating and hockey rink, or try something else on blades as Apex has a 1 Kilometer (a little over half a mile) adventure ice skating loop that is well-maintained. As is always the case, one key to having a good time is dressing right for the occasion. You'll want light layers beneath a breathable waterproof jacket, ski goggles and mask, a neck gator. As you've no doubt realized, there's far more to do there at Apex Mountain than there is time. But you can always try. You'll be relaxed and refreshed in no time, ready to enjoy a relaxing evening with the family, a delicious dinner, or hit the pubs and growl around town! If the wanderlust hits you hard, you can even check out other resorts in the area. This is your vacation, and you can have it your way at the magical, marvelous Apex Mountain!
