Snow King is one of the three resorts near to Jackson Hole. Just ten miles down the road from Grand Teton National Park and only 82 miles from Yellowstone National Park, the resort is nestled in a snowy, winter paradise. Generally overlooked by the throngs of people who show up to ski and ride at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King is a haven for locals looking to avoid the crowds and for visitors who seek runs void of the Jackson Hole hordes.

Smaller But Just As Fun

The resort boasts a fairly modest 1,500 feet of vertical in comparison to other resorts in the area, but does have its fair share of spine-tingling steeps and chutes. There are more than 400 acres in all, over 30 named trails. There are also terrain parks, a halfpipe, and night skiing on more than 110 acres. Discover more with Ski Experience and Snowboarding Zone
