Ski Experience - Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole is known around the world for its challenging terrain and runs, as well as its nearly 500 inches of pure powder each year.

Ski Levels

Expert skiers can attack the S & S Chute, Bivouac, Rendezvous, Paint Brush, Alta Chutes, Corbet's Couloir, and The Hobacks. A fully natural and completely radical quarterpipe and halfpipe can be found on Upper Dick's Ditch. Jackson Hole's amazing superpipe is found on Après Vous, along with an astounding selection of natural hits, jumps, and kickers. Half of all the slopes are rated advanced and expert only, so guests know that they’ll find more than enough challenges to keep them entertained. Intermediates will find plenty of great skiing 2,700 acres with great runs like Wide Open, Sleeping Indian, and Amphitheatre, as long as they keep in mind that what other resorts call advanced, this resort considers it intermediate.

Unfortunately, this is not the best option for first-timers or families with very young children, as there is not a wealth of super easy terrain. There are some relatively easy runs off the Eagle's Rest Double and the Teewinot Quad. But brave neophytes should really sign up at the  marvelous ski school especially their Learn-to-Turn program, before they try to get too wild on the slopes. The Terrain Park has excellent intermediate features and a relatively small quarterpipe.

Après Ski

Dining by the slopes at Jackson Hole is nothing short of fantastic. You can choose from outrageously elegant and upmarket restaurants, such as the Alpenrose, Cascade Grill House and Spirits, or Vertical where you will dine on world-class cuisine. For more budget oriented, family dining, some of the best restaurants include The Village Cafe, Masa Sushi, and Dietrich's Bistro.  The area is truly replete with winter activities, shopping, dining, and pristine skiing and snowboarding all winter long.
