Family-Friendly Things to Do

Bolton can boast family-friendliness for good reason. A self-contained property with many groomed trails and backcountry runs to satisfy skiers of all levels, generations of families come back to the resort each year. The laid back culture is welcoming to people of all ages.

Indoor Fun for Kids

The Indoor Amusement Center located inside the Sports Center provides lots of fun activities for children and teens to enjoy: inflatable jousting, bounce house, airborne adventure, a giant obstacle course and video games on a 14' video screen.

If you have little ones with you that need to nap while the older folks in the clan play, the Honey Bear Childcare Center is available to care for little ones 6 week – 6 years during most days of the week, and will cater activities for children up to 12 years old.

Bolton’s Ski and Play Day on Sunday afternoons provides a way for parents to ski for a couple of hours while their children rest or play. The package includes a half day lift ticket for parents and afternoon daycare for their children for an astoundingly low flat rate.

Kid-Friendly Eats

For dining options, head up to the Waffle House, a ski-in/out eatery located on the slope-side of the base lodge. Flatbread pizzas at the Fireside Flatbread Restaurant is another favorite.

Night Skiing

Join Bolton’s After Dark party on Saturday nights. For less than $20, kids and adults can enjoy night skiing and riding, and a movie with food and drink. It’s weekend fun that the whole family can enjoy.
