Magic Mountain

Located in Londonderry, Magic Mountain Ski Resort is nestled amidst stunning scenery and offers a no-frills, family friendly resort perfect for ski and snowboard enthusiasts.

Mid-Sized Vermont Resort

This is a mid-sized resort with 135 acres of skiable land and more than 40 different trails. Found in the heart of the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont, the resort area's idyllic setting, well-groomed trails, and proximity to award-winning lodging makes it a popular ski getaway. Magic Mountain provides all ability levels with incredible runs and appropriate challenges. It may not be the biggest resort, but it packs a lot in a small space. The slopes on the mountain are relatively evenly distributed, with 33 percent for beginners, 30 percent for intermediate skiers, and 37 percent black diamond and double black diamond runs. With four lifts and short lift lines, skiers and snowboarders are guaranteed to find runs that suit their appropriate skill levels.

Off the Slopes

In addition to great skiing, Magic Mountain also has its own cafe and bar, an array of ski and snowboarding lessons by certified instructors, snowshoeing and is minutes away from the towns of Londonderry and Manchester, which offer a wealth of shopping and après ski activities. Because there are many ski resorts in the area, there is a wide array of lodging options that will suit both a variety of tastes and budgets. The area runs the gamut on accommodations from luxury resorts and historic bed and breakfasts, to comfy cottages and family friendly hotels. The area has a lot to offer those who are looking to have a fun and enjoyable ski experience. If a quiet, low-key holiday is what you seek, this is a cozy ski area that offers a little bit of everything, the nearby towns of Londonderry and Manchester have all the amenities and after hour recreation to keep skiers and boarders busy off the slopes.

Getting Here

Getting to Magic Mountain is easy. By plane, Magic Mountain is conveniently located an hour and a half from Albany’s International Airport, however Hartford and Boston are only a little over two hours from the resort. By car, it is 25 minutes from Manchester. It is located just off of VT RT-11 a few miles from Londonderry.
