Ski Experience - Jay Peak

Jay Peak is justifiably proud of its 355 inches of powder, which ranks as one of the deepest packs in the entire Eastern United States. Under that deep pack is the real reason that skiing experts flock to Jay Peak, the extreme degree of difficulty presented by some of the resort’s world-renowned triple black runs like Ullr's Dream, Hell's Crossing, Kokomo, Lower Milk Run, and the unbelievably challenging Haynes and Jet.

Ski Levels

Freestyle skiers will find plenty of terrain to explore. The Park, on Lower Can Am features a C box, a rainbow rail, an S rail, a straight box, a rollercoaster rail, plus step-ups and lots of other features that will keep even the advanced skier fully engaged and challenged throughout the day. The Rail Garden is the fully intermediate park with enough sizeable hits, rails, barrels, picnic tables, chairs and lots of other interesting feature to keep the mid-range skier entertained. The Rail Garden is one of precious few parks in Vermont that's set up for night riding so visitors can freestyle under the stars. The Progression Park is on Rabbit Trail and its features are all over the board. Here visitors will find mostly intermediate builds, but will also find some that are quite suitable for the kids and neophytes, and even one or two that really should be rated advanced only. It's an excellent park for everyone to practice and hone their skills. Kids and the beginners should head to Grom Park on Harmony Lane. It's full of fun features that are small enough to be challenging for beginners and the little ones while still being safe, at the same time.

Après Ski

The Jay Village Inn can set up snowmobile rentals, from super powerful racing machines to placid, comfortable family sleds perfect for exploring the whole area including down south around Sugarbush and Mad River Glen.
