Smugglers' Notch

Smugglers' Notch Resort is a ski vacation resort located in the picturesque Green Mountains in Northern Vermont, five miles south of the town of Jeffersonville. The village is a self-contained community offering deals with several restaurants, lounges, evening entertainment, ski and snowboard shops, a deli and bakery. In Jeffersonville, there are several family restaurants to choose from for your dining experience.

On Mountain Fun

With over 300 acres marked and patrolled Smugglers' Notch Resort covers more than 1,000 acres of accessible terrain. Three interconnected mountains comprise northern Vermont's biggest vertical drop at 2,610'. Morse Mountain, the beginners' haven, rises directly out of the Resort Village. Sterling Mountain's terrain appeals especially to intermediates, while Madonna Mountain is the expert skiers' mountain. The resort offers the East's only triple black diamond, The Black Hole!

Off the Slopes

Find great lodging deals, discounts and value at participating hotels, Inns, bed and breakfast inns, condominiums, private homes and resorts. The Base Village accommodations consist of condominiums ranging from studios to five bedroom townhouses that are fully equipped.

Regional activities include area snowmobiling, a lighted outdoor ice skating rink, and a Nordic cross country ski & snowshoe center. A free shuttle service also runs daily throughout the Village and to the upper mountain lifts.

Getting Here

Smugglers' Notch Resort is easily reached from Boston, (220 miles), New York City (291 miles), and Montreal (93 miles) and is 30 miles east of the Burlington International Airport. It is particularly known for its family ski programs, where it consistently ranks number one in the North America.
