Rider's Guide

Killington is a Vermont ski resort that makes a lot of the other resorts in the region look like kiddy toboggan hills. Killington is an absolutely enormous, six mountain resort with more than 20 lifts, including hi-speed quads and gondolas that take visitors to their more than 140 trails. The resort averages about 250 inches of powder annually and also has snowmaking abilities for 600 acres. The 140+ trails are evenly distributed between all ability levels and riders and freestyle skiers of all skill levels are well represented. Killington proudly houses an impressive grooming fleet that grooms 50% to 80% of open terrain nightly. They also leave numerous runs untouched specifically for mogul enthusiasts, including Outer Limits one of the steepest, longest mogul slopes in all of the East Coast.

Killington’s massive superpipe boasts 22 foot walls, is 500’ long and regularly maintained and cut by a top-of-the-line Zaugg cutter. The resort also houses four terrain parks. The Dream Maker is a medium sized terrain park that features more than 30 hits, rails and boxes, the flow of the park is almost, well, dreamlike. Timberline is the resorts beginner-to-intermediate park, with more than 20 smaller features that cater to novices and apprehensive intermediate boarders and freestyle skiers.
