Cranmore Mountain Resort

Cranmore Mountain Resort is one of the most impressive family-friendly ski resorts in the greater New Hampshire region, and its growing popularity is a testament to Cranmore’s inimitable slopes and welcoming atmosphere. Situated at the edge of the White Mountain National Forest in the western part of the state this idyllic location is steeped in natural and striking beauty.

Eastern Resort Skiing at Its Best

Skiers are always looking for the rush of speed, the feeling of big air, and the serenity felt amidst a beautiful natural landscape. Finding the perfect balance of all three can be difficult, but visitors to Cranmore know that they have managed to find the perfect combination of fun, adrenaline, and relaxation all at one ski resort. Cranmore is, above all else, a resort, offering your entire family a fitness center and a 10-lane tubing park, grooming the impeccable trails each day and night. These masterfully maintained trails are known to be some of the best in the area, providing a wide variety of runs for riders of all experience levels. There are 43 trails in all and they are fairly evenly distributed between beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs. Few other resorts in the New Hampshire region have the diversity that you can find at Cranmore. For more information on the Ski Experience and Snowboarding Zone, read the information provided.

In addition, as part of Cranmore’s commitment to the environment and the green movement, the resort utilizes eco-friendly biodiesel fuel to operate their four grooming vehicles. They have also invested in 70 additional high-efficiency snow making guns, which replaced the older, less efficient tripod snow guns.

Off the Slopes

Cranmore has a lot more to offer its guests than just skiing and snowboarding. Cranmore has an indoor fun zone, a 10 lane tubing park, a large indoor family fitness center, indoor tennis courts, and Cranmore’s newest attraction, The Mountain Coaster. Already incredibly popular in Europe, this fun attraction has thousands of feet of twists and turns with a speed of up to 25-miles-per-hour, all controlled by you.

There are plenty of dining options at Cranmore and the surrounding areas. Some of the best food in the area can be found right at Meister Hut, which is located slope side. The Beer & Brat is a relaxed and casual après ski option for those looking for an affordable meal and a cold brew after a long day on the mountain. Affordable lodging options are plentiful in the area as well. The nearby towns of Conway, North Conway, and Bartlett host accommodations ranging from motels to inns, cabins, cottages and deluxe suites. Many of the area’s lodging offer exceptional ski and stay packages that are worth checking out.
