Bretton Woods

Bretton Woods in New Hampshire is one of the most well-known and recognized skiing resorts in the nation, providing a wealth of opportunities for individuals of all experience levels. Largest Ski Resort in NH

Bretton Woods is the largest ski resort in the state of New Hampshire, providing skiers and snowboarders with more than 430 acres of pure white skiable land. The resort also prides itself on the most consistent weather in the region and chances are, if it’s snowing in New Hampshire, it’s hitting Bretton Woods. This particular resort has a vertical drop of 1,500 feet, with a summit elevation of 3,100 feet. The mountain has ski slopes and runs perfect for all experience levels: 29 percent for beginners, 39 percent for intermediates, and 32 percent for advanced and experts. There are more than 100 trails, with 10 chair lifts, including several high-speed quads. Terrain Parks are available, as well as night skiing among other perks. Off the Slopes

The area has plenty to offer to both families on extended trips and weekend warriors looking to stay and play in the area. The Mount Washington Hotel is an incredible hotel that is recognizable from a distance, in part due to its unique and striking architecture. The restored Bretton Arms Country Inn is a National Historic Landmark, providing plenty of charm for guests staying the area. As far as dining is concerned, the Mount Washington Hotel dining room and the Bretton Arms dining room are great restaurants that serve fantastic meals. Interesting bars like the Cave Lounge and Princess Lounge provide plenty of nightlife for those without seeking après ski and a little bit of after dark fun.

Getting Here

Located near Cannon Mountain and Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods is 150 miles away from Logan Airport in Boston. Manchester Airport is 100 miles away, which provides several options for airport accessibility. By car, the resort is easily accessed by I-91, I-93 or I-95 to Route 302 which takes guests directly to Bretton Woods which is fairly close to the Maine border.
