Ski Experience - Pats Peak

What a hidden gem among the string of ski resorts that line themselves along I-93! Pats Peak is a relatively small ski resort, with less than 100 acres of land. However, what this resort lacks in size it more than makes up for in professionalism and experience. The amount of detail that goes into Pats Peak easily makes it one of the best resorts in the state. It has impeccable grooming, challenging and varied trails, and several top-notch terrain parks.

Ski Levels

The 10 lifts carry visitors up to the top of the 1,400-foot summit, which allows them to then race down the more than 710 feet of vertical. The mountain features plenty of runs for all experience levels. The majority of trails are for beginners, however there are plenty of difficult runs for advanced and expert skiers, as well as challenging runs for intermediate skiers. Novice skiers should head to Blast, easily the least-challenging run from top to bottom. There are also handfuls of ski instructors available that teach both individuals and groups, for either half or full day lessons.

As an added bonus the entire mountain lit up at night, with the largest night skiing area in the entire state. It simply does not get better than a series of night runs under the stars down a beautiful mountain.

Après Ski

As far as dining is concerned, the cafeteria at the base of the mountain offers delicious homemade meals. The Sled Pub provides a great après ski spot complete with bar food and drinks, including some excellent microbrews from around the area. This mountain packs a big punch in a small amount of space, with fabulous day and night skiing, impeccable grooming, great discounts and deals, as well as a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
