Ski Experience - King Pine

There are plenty of different locations for a great ski experience in New Hampshire, but none of the mountains supply its guests with a pure family-friendly package quite like the King Pine Ski Area does. Nestled amidst the incredible White Mountains of New Hampshire, King Pine prides itself on its 40+ years of providing individuals of all ages the ski trip of a lifetime.

Ski Levels

King Pine features nearly 50 acres of skiable land, and snowmaking abilitty throughout the entire mountain, making it a great location for families throughout the entire winter season. The trails are heavily weighed towards beginner and intermediate runs, and absolutely perfect for young, inexperienced skiers and riders. The trails are distributed as follows, 55 percent beginner, 28 percent intermediate, and 17 percent expert. However, there are runs for advanced and expert skiers as well, including the steepest run in the area, a double black diamond, ideal for those who are looking for a difficult and challenging ski experience.

For the more adventurous skier, there is night skiing available periodically during the season, as well as an excellent terrain park and massive halfpipe guaranteed to challenge even the most seasoned freestyle skier. There is also tubing offered at the mountain, which serves as a welcome diversion from a tiring day of skiing. In addition, there are kilometers of Nordic and cross-country skiing available, as well as snowshoeing and sleigh riding.

Après Ski

The resort features a delightful inn that provides food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the season. Adults seeking a great après ski environment can find it at the Trail’s End Tavern in the lodge. There are plenty of other amentities, such as full-day daycare, ski and snowboard lessons, slope-side rental and repair shops, and much more.
