Mount Sunapee Snowboard Vacation Guide

Rider’s Guide

This is a family-focused resort that helps bolster confidence for beginner boarders and hone the skills of more experienced riders. There are three different terrain parks and one massive 50-foot flat rail, 10 lifts, over 65 trails, all spread out on 230 acres of terrain.

Parks and Pipes

There are three parks throughout the mountain. The Six O’ Three is the most advanced park and is conveniently serviced by its own chairlift, which shoots right into the middle the park and its thumping 4,000-watt sound system. You’ll find split lip jumplines and plenty of rails from mellow flat t-boxes to epic kink rails, the massive 50 footer, and their wall ride. Eastside is a mid-mountain park that’s made entirely out of snow and houses the resort’s half-pipe. The beginner park, Calypso, has rollers, spines, and a shallow half-pipe for beginners wanting to learn how to ride.

Out of Bounds

The area has several other ski resorts to explore. There is also a myriad of winter activities to be experienced, like hiking, ice fishing, and snowshoeing. The towns in the area offer great shopping, casual eateries, and historic buildings to tour.

Hangout & Hookup

There are a couple of different areas that provide the exciting nightlife and casual dining for a perfect end to a great day of riding. The base lodge features the Goosefeathers Pub, a fun place for drinks and light fare. Murphy’s Grille is a popular spot just off the traffic circle at the entrance to the resort. The more refined Mountain Spirits Tavern in the Mountain Edge Resort & Spa is a fancier spot to unwind after an epic day of skiing and boarding.
