Mount Sunapee

The goal of the owners and staff is to be ranked as the number one resort in the east, and have made improvements in years past to achieve this goal. Located adjacent to the idyllic Sunapee State Park and near the crystalline waters of Sunapee Lake, Mount Sunapee ski resort offers breathtaking scenery, impeccable terrain, and family-focused skiing and snowboarding. Guests with younger family members will be thrilled to find out that Sunapee offers a variety of daytime programs and lessons for children aged one year and up. In addition to a large proportion of green trails there is even a beginner terrain park for novices to hone their freestyle skills.

Off the Slopes

Families, couples, and groups will find plenty to do while visiting Mount Sunapee. The resort has several slope-side dining options featuring casual cafeteria style dining. The Goosefeathers Pub is an animated bar with live entertainment on the weekends. There are also plenty of restaurants, shopping and lodging options in nearby, New London, Newport, and Newbury.

The Mountain Edge Resort & Spa, is a popular choice among guests, featuring an outdoor heated pool, rec room, and spa. The area has exceptional lodging options from budget motels to charming cabins and luxurious townhomes. The numerous lakes in the area provide plenty of opportunities to ice skate, ice fish, and snowmobile. New London, “the Snowshoe Capital of America” has just that, as well as The Norsk Ski Touring Center, which offers groomed trails, lessons, rentals, and even moonlit tours. This picturesque, family-friendly New Hampshire ski resort is a long-time favorite for many locals. The varied terrain, beautifully groomed hills, and plethora of activities make it a must-visit winter destination.

Getting Here

Concord and Manchester are both less than an hour away. Boston’s Logan Airport is less than two hours away. By car the resort can be reached from I-93, I-89 and I-91 and is located just off of Route 103 in Mount Sunapee.
