Ski Experience - Red Lodge Mountain

Located in south central Montana, these mountains offer 250 inches of snow each year to snowsports fans. About 50 miles from Billings, the resort is nestled near the Beartooth Mountains. With a 50-year history, visitors will find unsurpassed skiing and snow sports, many dining and lodging options, and a bustling nightlife. 

Ski Levels

With some of the best skiing in the nation, kids and families will benefit from the skiing and snowboarding lessons at the snowsports school. Both adults and children can take lessons together or seperately. Beginners should stay on Miami Beach trail. And then progress up to intermediate skiing on Lazy M. Lazy M is a 2 1/2 mile run giving you the chance to test out your endurance. The experts should look for a challenge in the double black diamond chutes of Cole Creek.

Après Ski

Per capita, Red Lodge offers more dining options than any other area in Montana. The resort is home to many different competitions, festivals, and activities throughout the year, like music festivals and winter-time activities like the Citizens Cup or the Rocky Mountain Winter Games. Every November, A Taste of Red Lodge persents visitors taste samples of the area's finest dining. Shopping ranges from old-time shops to the Mountain Shoppe, where you can get all the gear you need to enjoy the snow sports and activities.

When there are no festivals or special events going on, the are still has a lively local scene. Near Yellowstone National Park, the area offers activities for serious skiers or family-style groups. Downtown you can find après ski activities in contemporary lounges or saloons. The Bierstube offers up some great late afternoon fun in the base area, with a full 13 beers on tap, and great meals available. Live music and locally famous drink specials make the Stube a place not to miss.
