Ski Experience - Berkshire East 

This is one of the largest ski areas in Southern New England and it’s a great ski resort for families and friends to enjoy starting in early-December and lasting until late-March(weather permitting).

Ski Levels

Trails for all ability levels are well represented on the more than 40 named runs. The area receives more than 100 inches of snow yearly and has snowmaking abilities on 100 percent of the 400 gorgeous acres. There is also night skiing and riding available most nights during the peak of the season.

Ski and Riding lessons here are some of the best in the country, from group beginner lessons to expert private lessons. The ski instructors are experienced and dedicated to the sport and offer comprehensive lessons. They adapt to different learning styles that are guaranteed to improve skills and techniques. Children are encouraged to sign up with the Mt. Club Learning Program, it combines instruction and enjoyment to help ensure that children are instilled with a love of the mountain and of snow sports in general.

Berkshire Mountain is a true local’s mountain. For 35 years, this family run resort has provided hours of entertainment and enjoyment for thousands of people in and around Western Massachusetts. Now, it’s promoting green initiatives and bolstering the local economy. They have installed a wind tower that is slated to generate 13 percent of their energy needs. They are also incredibly dedicated to the area surrounding the resort and believe that dollars spent at the resort directly help the community.

The lodge has basic slope-side fare to enjoy. However, unlike many resorts the prices are inexpensive and the food is hearty and delicious. The lodge also has extensive seating and makes the perfect place to meet up and kick back after a few amazing runs. People rave that the lodge is cozy and accommodating.
