Some of the more well-known runs are all cheekily named after characters in Rocky and Bullwinkle. The beginner’s area and daycare are placed apart from the main area giving the beginners comfort to practice. There is a shuttle that runs between the main area and the west side.

The Bone Yard is a huge hit amongst freestyle enthusiasts of all experience levels and continues to grow and evolve each year. The Dudley Do Right trail also features some great hits, jumps, natural, and man-made elements to enjoy as guests race down the mountain.

Out of Bounds

Mt. Abram also features the largest tubing park in Maine at a whopping 1,325 foot trail. The closest town is Bethel, which has a charm all its own and features some great shopping, dining, and activities. Carload Fridays have become huge and includes lift tickets for every legal passenger in a car, SUV or minivan for the low price of $75. Mt. Abram also has 2-for-1 Thursdays on full-day tickets.

Hangout & Hookup

There is no slope side lodging available at the ski area but there is a pretty nice lounge that definitely gets busy after the sun has gone down. There are a few places to kick back and relax in Bethel, but by and large this is not an area known for wild parties and raucous evenings.
