Terrain Parks - Mohawk Mountain

Riders Guide

The resort has a great variety of terrain spread over more than 100 acres. Of the 24 named runs, 30 percent are great for new and beginning skiers, 50 percent are suitable for intermediates, and the remaining 30 percent are challenging and great for advanced skiers. The resort has nearly 10 lifts. From summit to base, the mountain spans 650-vertical feel. When weather conditions are less than ideal, 95 percent of the terrain will remain open due to their snowmaking ability. Night skiing is available every night of the week on 12 trails.

Parks and Pipes

Unfortunately there is not a terrain park, but thankfully there is a lot of challenging terrain to keep even the most seasoned rider or freestyle skier entertained.

Out of Bounds

This is a purist ski resort. There are not a lot of other activities besides skiing and snowboarding. Of course, the Berkshires are an incredibly scenic area and there is plenty to do in the way of hiking and exploring.

Hangout & Hookup

The ski area is located in a relatively remote part of Connecticut amidst a protected state park. There are some great dining options located slope side but there is not much in the way of après ski. There are also several towns within driving distance, but they are mostly small, sleepy townships. Guests expecting nighttime activities should have a car because there isn’t a whole lot in the general vicinity.
