Snow Valley

Snow Valley Mountain Resort has over 75 years of ski teaching experience with some of the best instructors in the Southern California region. Since 1937, it has been a family favorite and one of the area's premiere learning resorts. It might not be as recognizable as Big Bear or hold the reputation for intimacy like Snow Summit, but it is an excellent choice for your next family vacation.

Night Skiing in the San Bernardino National Forest

Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, the mountain gets an average of 135 inches of snow yearly. There is a vertical of more than 1,000 feet and 240 acres of pristine terrain that are evenly distributed between ability levels. Discover more about the Ski Experience and Snowboarding Zone.

In addition, the resort offers night sessions on most Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays from 3pm to 8pm. Many of the favorite trails are open on the frontside of the mountain, including Eagle Flats, Mambo Alley, The EDGE. For those on a budget, night sessions also significantly cheaper than regular priced lift tickets. Because the resort is so close, guests have the option of making a quick getaway after school or work to spend a few hours skiing or snowboarding.

Off the Slopes

Whether it’s a quick bite, a sit-down meal, or a relaxing après ski drink, the area has a range of options to satisfy their guests. The Last Run Lounge has fabulous happy-hour specials and the Deer Meadow Grill serves up mouth-watering hamburgers and authentic New York Nathan’s Hotdogs.

The surrounding communities of Running Springs, Crestline, and Lake Arrowhead offer a great variety of lodging options from cabin rentals and motels, to luxury hotels. The resort also works closely with the local Chambers of Commerce, who provides additional information and lodging references. In addition, the resort partners up with many of the lodging facilities and offers special ski and stay package deals and discounted rates to guests.
