The Best Western Tree House is known as one of the most popular locations for ski, stay and play, as is Bodhana Shasta and the Gilden Lodge. There are also many lodging choices in the town including hotels, motels, condominiums, cabins, inns and mountain resorts to choose from. In addition, in there is lodging options in the nearby towns of Dunsmuir, McCloud, and Weed.

The Coyote Grill is located right at the base of the mountain, providing plenty of pub food to hungry skiers and snowboarders. Those who are looking for pizza will be able to find it at BC’s, a pizza shop located right in the upper lodge. Black Diamond Grill offers incredible views of the surroundings as it is located on Douglas Butte. Powder Hound Grill and Sliders Bar provide the other sources of food located right at the mountain, giving you and your family plenty of options. There are plenty of après ski options available for anyone looking to enjoy a night after the ski, including the drinks found at the Black Diamond Grill and at Slider’s Bar.

Getting Here

Mt. Shasta Ski Park is easy to get to, located less than 100 miles from both Redding, California and Medford, Oregon. Those looking to fly in may be able to fly right into Dunsmuir Municipal-Mott Airport. Driving is fairly easy froth here just take Interstate-5 and Highway 89 and it is only five miles away from the base of the mountain.
