Known for some of the best snow and with more than 350 inches each season, visitors are guaranteed a first-rate experience. Located near Deer Valley and connected with Canyons, each resort has different strengths and overall atmosphere. Park City Resort is the area best destination for intermediate skiers and snowboarders, but beginners and experts will find fantastic terrain as well.
Park City and the Canyons are now connected by a single gondola and merged into the largest resort in North America, offering skiers access to more than 7,300 acres of skiable terrain. Just on the Park City side alone you’ll find 3,300 acres of skiable snow, nine bowls, and eight different mountain peaks. With more than 100 trails, a superpipe, four terrain parks, and a run over three-and-a-half miles long, this mountain is ideal for intermediate skiers.
The largest proportion of runs are intermediate , with about a third rated for advanced and expert levels. About 17 percent are at the beginner level. There are more than a dozen lifts to accommodate 30,000 skiers per hour. There is a magic carpet in the kids’ learning area. The resort has snowmaking on over 475 acres, but leaves plenty of its runs au natural for purists.
