Stowe

Ski Stowe for the best winter vacation. It is a well-known fact that the Green Mountain State has the best powder in the East, and Stowe is where that reputation was made. Stowe, the Ski Capital of the East, is a 200 year-old village mixed with a world-class ski resort.

Ski Capital of the East

Skiers and snowboarders have plenty of options at Stowe. Six separate areas and three peaks make up this huge mountain’s bowl, with black and double black diamond runs topped off by a very large dose of intermediate trails to boot! Beginners aren’t left out at Stowe either. They can ski from all the way at the top of Mt. Mansfield, along the 14,995 foot long Toll Road trail, right on down to the bunny slopes. This same mountain that has outstanding, challenging, even hair-raising runs, also provides about the longest beginner’s trail anywhere! With 4 well-equipped terrain parks, snowboarders are made welcome too! Did we mention there’s night-skiing until 9 pm?

Off the Slopes
