Deer Valley Resort in Park City sits in a cluster with Park City Resort and Canyons Resort. Six Peaks—One Specifically Dedicated to Beginners

The ski instructors at Deer Valley are specially trained to teach novices the safe and fun way to enjoy the slopes and develop fundamental skills. In addition, the mountain offers six stunning peaks and more than 2,000 skiable acres. It has more than 20 lifts, 12 high-speed quads, five triple chairs, one quad chair, and a four-person gondola. Snowmaking can cover over 560 acres, if ever needed. The longest run is 2.8 miles long, but Deer Valley offers over 90 trails, so is also a great place for seasoned powderhounds. Off the Slopes

Snowmobiling, racing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing and groomed-track skiing are top winter activities at Deer Valley Resort. The Visa Freestyle International World Cup is also held at Deer Valley resort annually, so guests can enjoy watching top wintertime snow sport competitions and activities during their stay.

Getting Here

The resort is only 36 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport. There are a variety of bus and shuttle services to transport visitors. If driving, take I-80 to exit 145 at Park City (Kimball Junction). Follow to Deer Valley Drive directly to the Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley Resort.
