Save Magic Mountain: Buy One Lift Ticket Get Another For Free

When Magic Mountain in Vermont comes to mind most people will say something like, “It’s classic, old-fashioned skiing with no crowds, no unnecessary glitzy resort stuff, no obnoxious skiers who don’t know what they’re doing, no bull. It is just a great resort for real skiing and riding.” It’s a wonderful resort, simple as that, and they set out to prove that to you by offering 2-for-1 lift tickets all season long, valid every day but holidays. Since 1962 New Englanders have been making the trek to the Magic Mountain to enjoy the fun both on and off the slopes.

Magic Mountain is touted as Vermont’s most exciting and challenging mountain, but there is plenty of terrain and activities for all level of skier and rider. In total there are 195 acres and more than 1,700” of vertical. There are 40 trails in total, 33% are ideal for beginners, 30% for intermediate level skiers and riders and the remaining 37% are rated advanced and expert terrain, but you can ski anywhere within Magic Mountain’s boundaries.

There is a fantastic ski school, a fabulous rental shop run by professionals who will get you in to the right gear, lodging nearby and tons of activities in the area guaranteed to thrill everyone who visits. Once the slopes have closed for the evening Goniff’s Den is a great après ski hangout and below kids can play in the tube park and dance to the music heard from the bar. It’s a great way to end a great day on the mountain. There are lots of great reasons to visit and hardly a reason not to, spring skiing in Vermont can be some of the best, so now is the time to get up to Magic Mountain and enjoy some of Southern Vermont’s premiere terrain.
