Ski-in/Ski-out Luxury Condos are Coming to Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain Resort gets bigger and better each season. Recent developments this decade include new lodging, dining, snow making upgrades, and the addition of off season attractions like the high ropes course and ziplines. Next up: the opportunity to own or rent brand new 4-star condos on the mountain.

These major capital improvements are an effort to help guests take full advantage of the beauty of the Poconos Mountains all year long, and not just during the winter. The high end condos are called the Vista Lodge Residence Club, which will help the resort expand to become an off-season vacation destination for families, and for large events such as weddings and conferences.

The Vista Lodge Residence Club is planned to sit atop the mountain at the Summit Lodge, providing scenic views of the valley. The high end condominium hotel will be the resort’s first development of luxury ski in/ski out real estate.

The furnished condominium units will range in size from cozy studio to elegant three bedroom units, and will come with fully equipped kitchens, private storage and daily housekeeping services. Other owner amenities include: a fitness center with a heated pool, hot tubs, a member’s only club with spa, concierge and property management services.

Blue Mountain skiers and riders are excited for the addition of slopeside residences in the Poconos. Currently, the closest vacation lodging to the resort are about a half-hour’s drive from the mountain. The residences will be available for purchase later this year, with construction to begin in 2017. More than 800 families have signed up in the first two weeks of the announcement to be informed when the units are available for purchase. Owners will have the option to rent their units through an in-house rental management company.

With all the excellent skiing available on terrain to challenge any skier, and 100% snow making capability, Blue Mountain’s popularity is well-deserved. The addition of ski in/out access next year is sure to help transform the resort into an even family-friendlier, four-season mountain destination. For right now, skiers and riders can continue to enjoy the awesome skiing, slopeside dining options, professional ski school, and events.
