Wachusett Mountain Offers Value Skiing in Boston’s Backyard

Wachusett Mountain in Massachusetts has many great deals and discounts all season long and has been offering urban skiers, “Mountain Fun…Minutes Away” for years. Sugarloaf Deals for Frequent Skiers and Christmas

Sugarloaf Resort in Maine opened on November 29th for the 2009/2010 season. Sugarloaf participates in one of the top discount programs in New England, the Frequent Skier Card. This card can be purchased for $89, just $15 more than a 1-day lift ticket, which gives the purchaser a day of skiing and riding that can be used on any day during the season (including the day of purchase). But it also allows skiers to get $25 off mid-week lift tickets for the season, and $15 off weekend and holiday lift tickets for the rest of the ski season.

An added benefit of the card is that it’s valid not only at Sugarloaf, but at Sunday River and Loon Mountain. And it offers discounts for skiers who head west to Big Sky Resort in Montana and Boyne Mountain in Michigan, as well. The card can be used any day during the season at any of these resorts.

Right now, locals can ski for $25 per day during the week. Great news – the shuttle services from Sugarloaf Resort lodging to the ski resort started on December 5th.

Sugarloaf is currently offering a Christmas package called Christmas on Us. This package requires the purchase of a minimum of 4 nights that span over December 25th, and the lodging on Christmas night is complimentary.

For those who want to ski all resorts in the area, the Gold Plus New England Pass is available and is valid at Sugarloaf, Loon Mountain and Sunday River. Prices are $1199 for weekend/holidays for adults, down to $679 for seniors, with the weekday passes start at the top price of $1099 down to $629.
