April Skiing in Abundance This Year!

Easter Sunday has been the traditional last day of the ski season. But this year, Easter Sunday is April 24th. That means, all across the country, there is some great April skiing to be had. While some ski areas won’t make it to the 24th, many are. The mountain regionals of New England, The Rockies and The Sierra have all received copious amounts of March snowfall.

Here is a rundown of ski area closing dates that we have been able to compile. If you don’t see your favorite slope listed, go to their website and see what they plan.

In addition, lodging prices are the lowest of the season. When you combine those prices with the coupons offered at each resort, you really owe it to yourself to head to the mountains at least one more time before we call this season a wrap.
