SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch Ski Experience
SolVista Basin and Granby Ranch is only 15 minute away from another top ski resort in Colorado, Winter Park. This makes the area an ideal place for skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing and enjoying all sorts of winter sports. SolVista's 33 trails feature runs for beginners and even areas set aside from brand new skiers, as well as runs for advanced skiers, with the top run stretching almost 2.5 miles.
The East Mountain is for those new to the sports and intermediates, and the West Mountain is reserved for more advanced skiers. New skiers or those wanting to improve can enroll in the ski school. Rentals are available for skiers and snowboarders, and snowshoers and cross-country skiers can enjoy the mountain as well.
Near the Rocky Mountain National Park, there's lots for families to enjoy in the area, and with Denver less than 2 hours away and nearby small mountain towns, shopping, dining and activities are available.
