Riders Guide - Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is Wyoming's premier winter wonderland destination and is rightfully renowned around the world, with a total of 12 lifts, comprising of 1 Magic Carpet, 2 Double Chairs, 2 Triple Chair, 4 Quad Chairs, 2 HiSpeed Quad and 1 Hi-Speed Gondola that take you up to 111 trails where you can snowboard on their really nice longest run of almost 38,000 feet which is well over seven miles atop an amazingly deep 460 inches of fantastic Wyoming powder. Their trails are rated 10% for Beginners, 40% for Intermediates, 40% for Advanced, and a great 10% for the Experts. 180 inches of lovely snow on their longest run which is 6,600 feet. Their trails are rated 41% for Beginners, 36% for Intermediates, and 23% for Advanced.

Parks and Pipes - Jackson Hole is famous for amazing natural features and runs you can't find anywhere else. Expert snowboarders flock to Corbet's Couloir, the S & S Chute, and The Hobacks. Make sure to check out Upper Dick's Ditch, where you'll find a natural quarterpipe and halfpipe. All of this adds up to some of the most radical snowboarding to be found in the Lower 48. Après Vous is where you'll find Jackson Hole's awesome superpipe, along with various natural jumps, hits and kickers. The terrain park has 10 components including jumps, rails, bumps and a small quarterpipe. There isn't really any beginner or other neophyte features here. Like the entire resort, it's really for intermediate snowboarders all the way up to the most elite expert grade.

Out of Bounds - C'mon, you're in Wyoming! When you've explored all you want of Jackson Hole and gone on to Snow King and Grand Targhee, you can choose from a nearly infinite number of exciting outdoor sports such as snowcatting, horseback riding, sledding, hot air ballooning, ice skating, snowmobiling, jeeping and off-road driving, rock and ice climbing, and cross country skiing.

Hangout & Hookup - The Mangy Moose is the watering hole that made Teton Village famous. Not only is it an incredible spot for après-ski and nightlife, but you'll be surprised at the big-name entertainers who will pop in to give a memorable show. Other great après ski locations include The Cascade Grill House & Spirits in the Teton Mountain Lodge, The Village Cafe, and The Peak in the Four Seasons is a fun place to catch the game on their huge TVs. You can follow the locals to the Cadillac Grille or catch some DJ'd Hip Hop grooves at Nikai. The Log Cabin Saloon is the choice for billiards, darts and foosball. There's great music at The Shady Lady Saloon at The Snow King Resort. If you want to mellow out, consider The Snake River Lodge Bar and Dietrich's Bar & Bistro at the Alpenhof Lodge. You're in Wyoming, so you have to do the honors of a fancy two-step at western bars, and some of the best places to let your line-dancing devils loose include The Silver Dollar Bar, The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, and The Stagecoach in Wilson. However, you have to take the trip to Alpine to ride the mechanical bull at The Bull Moose Saloon.

The Deal - Fly directly into Jackson Hole's airport with American, United, Northwest and Delta.. If you're driving yourself in, Jackson is on Hwys. 89, 26 and 191 in western Wyoming. Jackson Hole town is 10 miles south of the airport, and Teton Village is 12 miles farther by Hwys. 89, 22 and 390. Count on driving about five hours from Salt Lake City and a good ten hours from Denver.
