Snowboarding Zone - Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia:

Riders Guide - Snowshoe Mountain, with its 180 inches of annual snowfall and 1,500 foot vertical drop, is a great mountain for expert skiers, but there are many trails just for beginners. Over 40% of the trails area considered easier, with the longest run coming in at 1.5 miles. The 14 lifts make sure you're not spending your vacation standing in line, while 12 slopes are lit up for night skiing.

Parks and Pipes - Snowshoe Mountain Resort features a Mountaineer Terrain Park that's full of rails, boxes and kickers. The terrain park is located in the Silver Creek area of the resort. There's also a 300-foot half-pipe to offer challenges, as well as the Coca-Cola tubing park. With the resorts emphases on beginner and inexperienced skier, the terrain park is no exception with many features that are designed for children and snowboarders of limited experience. This makes Snowshoe Mountain a great place for learning because the pressure that some popular ski resorts put on the snowboarders is off.

Out of Bounds - The Coca-Cola Tubing Park offers 5 lanes of snow tubing that drops slowing down 6 stories for maximum snow tubing fun. A handle tow drags tubers back to the top to do it again. The Big Top is a new activity center with arcade games, billiards and indoor games both for kids and adults to enjoy. Split Rock Pools with heated water, slides, dumping whiskey barrels and a hot tub and sauna as well, it's a great place for families.

Hangout & Hookup - Right at the resort are two of the most popular après-ski and nighttime gathering spots at Snowshoe Mountain. There's a classy place for things like wine and fine cocktails, live bands and DJ action. There's a great train-themed restaurant and meeting place after sliding on the slopes. There are over a dozen après-ski destinations and nighttime clubs with music, dancing, sports on big screen televisions and more, all at Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
