For visitors that do want to stay on the mountain, The Winwood Inn is located slope side and provides great and affordable lodging. Many of the areas accommodation partners up with the resort for the season and offers amazing ski and stay deals throughout the winter. Windham has several fantastic dining and drinking options. Be sure to check out the Waffle Cabin, the Patio BBQ, and the Wunderbar Café. The Rock’n Mexicana Cantina + Grill is the most popular location on the mountain and Legend’s Bar and Grill offers a warm and inviting après ski environment.
Traveling to and from Windham Mountain is simple – the resort is less than an hour from Albany and about two hours from Westchester, Long Island, and New York City. Take the New York State Thruway to Highway 32W which takes guests directly to the resort. There are also several bus companies that offer service to and from New York City.
