Waterville Valley is a beautiful White Mountain ski resort in New Hampshire. Situated atop a 4,000 foot peak in a natural snow pocket on the mountain, Waterville Valley is a large, beautiful and unpretentious resort in the heart of some of the best scenery in New England. There are several cozy bars and a restaurant on the mountain, but Waterville Valley is not transformed into a party town each night, its focus on quality skiing and relaxing evenings make it a fabulous resort for couples and families.

Waterville Valley provides skiers with over 250 acres of pure skiing bliss. A staggering 12 lifts take you to the over 50 expertly cut trails featured on the mountain. The majority of the runs are for intermediate level skiers and boarders (60% ), 20% for the more advanced and expert skiers, and 20% for beginners. The resort also houses three terrain parks for freestyle skiers and boarders to explore. And proudly boasts a summit of 4,003 feet and more than 2,000 feet of vertical to race down.

Waterville Valley shines in all aspects of family services. From the Kids' Kamp program, a day ski program for kids aged 3 and up, to the excellent seasonal programs that they offer and the BBTS racing programs, Waterville Valley teaches kids and adults the fundamentals, safety and techniques necessary to become a great skier or snowboarder.

The resort has several restaurants slope side, including the mountain top restaurant Schwendi Hutte which has delicious fondues and an impressive assortment of artisan baked goods. Waterville Valley also has quick grab-and-go items and the T-Bar has a mouth watering array of gourmet sandwiches and burgers. Off the slopes, the town of Waterville Valley has a few restaurants and coffee shops that are definitely worth visiting.

There is no slope side lodging at Waterville Valley, but it’s proximity to town and partnerships with neighboring accommodation ensures that guests will be able to find the perfect place to lay their head after a long day on the mountain. The Waterville Valley Resort is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, which provides a beautiful backdrop and scenic drive. Manchester, NH is only an hour away and Boston, MA is two hours away. By car, take I-93 to Exit 28, then drive the 11 miles via Rt. 49 to the resort village.
