Skiers are always looking for the rush of speed, the feeling of big air, and the serenity felt amidst a beautiful natural landscape. Finding the perfect balance of all three can be difficult, but visitors to Cranmore know that they have managed to find the perfect combination of fun, adrenaline, and relaxation all at one ski resort.
Cranmore is, above all else, a ski resort. While the resort may offer a fitness center and a 10 lane tubing park, Cranmore Mountain focuses the majority of its energies on the impeccable trails they’re famous for, these masterfully maintained trails are known to be some of the best in the area, providing a wide variety of runs for riders of all experience levels. There are 43 trails in all and they are fairly evenly distributed between beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs. Few other resorts in the New Hampshire region have the diversity that you can find at Cranmore.
There are 10 lifts to take skiers all across Cranmore’s 43 trails and more than 200 acres of terrain. The park also boasts 100% snowmaking ability and uses high efficiency snow guns throughout the resort. Cranmore has 3 terrain parks for freestyle skiers and offers night skiing on 11 of its trails every weekend. In addition to great skiing the resort also contains an indoor fitness center, indoor tennis court, snow tubing, and the mega Mountain Coaster.
Lodging can be found throughout the area, especially in North Conway which has a plethora of different lodges, inns, and hotels, many of which have amazing ski and stay packages worth checking out. The resort has 6 restaurants, including The Beer and Brat, an affordable and relaxed après ski favorite. The nearby towns of North Conway and Bartlett offer cuisine from all over the world.
The airports in Manchester,NH and the airport in Portland, ME are the closest major airports and about 1.5 hours from the resort. By car, I-95 and I-93 are equidistant from the resort which is located directly off of RT-16 on Kearsarge Street in North Conway, New Hamphire.
