Snowboarding Zone - Ragged Mountain, New Hampshire:

Riders Guide - There are 220 different acres to conquer on this incredible and beautiful mountain. There are 45 different trails and slopes, each tailored to different levels of rider. Beginner runs make up 30% of the resort, intermediate runs make up 40% and the remaining 30% are reserved for advanced and expert riders. Ragged Mountain boasts over 1,200 feet of vertical to shred and several backcountry gladed areas and snowboarders and freestyle skiers of all ability levels will find terrain that is perfect for them. The resort also has snowmaking abilities for over 80% of the mountain, so the conditions will remain ideal, even if the weather isn’t. In addition to great terrain, the resort also regularly offers great deals and discounts on its lift tickets and passes.

Parks and Pipes - There are three different terrain parks available at Ragged Mountain, known as the Wild Side Terrain Park, the Wild Woods Terrain Park, and the Pocket Park. Pocket Park is the perfect terrain park for beginners who are still trying to figure out their form and develop basic skills. Wild Side is a flowing half-mile of difficult jumps and grinds that are best suited for intermediate and advanced riders. Wild Woods is a unique park because it is completely natural and it boasts many interesting features such as cliff drops, slides made of logs, and a wicked quarter pipe.

Out of Bounds - Ragged Mountain is dedicated to the art of skiing and snowboarding and offers a variety of lessons to guests who need help with their skills or would like to pick up a few new ones. Snowboarders will find the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

Hangout & Hookup - There are also lots of different discounts and packages for dining and après ski at Ragged Mountain. Tallulah’s Tavern and The Pub at Ragged Mountain are known for great food and great drinks, including an impressive selection of microbrews, not to mention an excellent atmosphere to relax and chill after a long day of riding the slopes.

The Deal - Ragged Mountain is easy to reach, located in Danbury, New Hampshire. The mountain is only 20 minutes off of two major roads, I-93 and Rt. 104. It is also easily accessed by flying into either Manchester, NH or Boston, MA and renting a car from there.
