Snowboarding Zone - Attitash, New Hampshire:
Riders Guide - Attitash is known for being one large place to snowboard, thanks to the two different mountains and over 60 snowboarding trails in the area. Riders looking to shred these mountains should look for a high elevation of 2,050 feet and prepare for a vertical drop of 1,750 feet for Bear Peak, and 2,350 and a drop of 750 for Attitash. Remember to layer up, as you’re going to need different levels of coverage depending on your altitude at the two different mountains.
Parks and Pipes - The parks available at Attitash are some of the best available in the entire region. The ATP Fly Zone is one of the best parks in the state, providing different levels of boxes, rails, jumps, and tabletops for the ultimate set. The course changes on a consistent basis, allowing beginners, intermediates, and more advanced skiers to fine-tune their skills at a constantly changing park. The park features two other parks, the West Slope Park with jibs and rails and the Illusion Park with a set of tabletops.
Out of Bounds - Those who are looking to get their feet wet in the world of snowboarding can turn to the Ski School at Attitash. The school features a full friendly and understanding staff that will get you from bunny hills to intermediate slopes quickly and easily. Some of the non-snowboarding activities you’ll find in the area include climbing, tubing, and ice skating.
Hangout & Hookup - There are plenty of different places located right on the amazing Attitash resort that will provide you with the grub and drinks you need to relax after killing it on the mountains. The Lion’s Den, Ptarmigans, and Crawford’s Pub and Grill are all options for those looking to go heavy on the stomach but light on the wallet.
The Deal - You can easily reach Attitash through I-95 and I-93. It can be difficult to actually find the location if you don’t know exactly where you’re going. If you’re going to be using a GPS, use Latitude 71.283W, Longitude 44.078 for complete coordinates.
