Gunstock Ski area is located in Gilford, New Hampshire. Gunstock Mountain, located in Gilford, is one of New Hampshire's must see mountains. The resort is located close to the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. Gunstock puts you in the heart of New Hampshire's lakes vacation region. Surrounded by three mountain ranges, numerous lakes, a diverse assortment of recreational opportunities and small New England villages, Gunstock offers a dramatic alpine and Nordic setting for a perfect winter ski vacation. Gunstock's tradition of family skiing began during 1937, when the first snow trains arrived at Laconia.
