As one of the least crowded resorts, it is not uncommon for guests to ski alone on a run. The resort is spans more than 650 acres and fantastic yet challenging open glades and tree skiing. Like we said, it's a bit smaller with 30 runs, but beginners and intermediate skiers will relish the 64 percent dedicated to their level of skiing.

Past visitors absolutely gush about the quality of the ski school. From beginners and children to older and more advanced skiers and riders, the PSIA Certified Professionals, and their excellent teaching techniques will help guests of all ages and experience levels. The Bee Ferrato Child Ski Center is for children ages three to seven. The center is located on a separate learning area, which has its own powerline lift and a very low instructor to child ratio. Children enrolled in lessons are sure to receive plenty of attention in the ski school’s crowd free and fun learning environment. Group lessons are for children aged four to seven only. Three year olds are accepted in private lessons. Free lift tickets are included with all lessons. For older kids and adults there are several customizable packages based upon ability and age.

Après Ski

All the basic amenities are covered and there are a few notable extras. There is a beautiful and spacious base lodge as well as a mid-mountain lodge. The base lodge has expansive sun soaked decks, as well as equipment rental and repairs, kid ski center and adult ski and snowboard school, and a great sports shop. Scattered throughout the mountain are several wonderful dining options ranging from quick and casual to upscale and elegant. There is also a beautiful après ski bar.
