Riders Guide - Shawnee Peak features 40 trails and 4 glades that range from slopes for beginning and intermediate skiers to advanced terrain. Shawnee Peak boasts one of the largest areas for night skiing in New England with 19 trails and 1,300 vertical feet, it also lights up the terrain park so you can ride under the stars. There are a nice variety of trails for all skill levels, 25% beginner, 45% intermediate and 30% advanced and expert.

Parks and Pipes - Shawnee Peak in Maine offers 2 terrain parks, one of them lit up at night along with Shawnee Peak’s massive halfpipe. Located on the main slope is a 400-foot halfpipe, wall ride as well as rails, boxes and jibs that offer challenges to new and experienced snowboarders alike. The Grommet Garden is a terrain park aimed at novice park riders and boarders who would like to build confidence riding smaller features that are ideal for learning.

Out of Bounds - Shawnee Peak offers racing school and ski school for beginners and children, specifically designed to help new skiers and snowboarders feel comfortable on the slopes. There are first-timer packages and comprehensive packages for kids and adults who want to learn new skills. Nearby Bridgton, Freyberg and North Conway offer a host activities and attractions, such as museums and shopping. These towns also host a variety of restaurants and pubs.

Hangout & Hookup - For après-ski, the slope side pub offers a fully stocked bar as well as light fare, decadent desserts and live entertainment on the weekends. The resort also has a cafeteria with a full array of food choices and a menu catered to children. Family and large group gatherings are popular at Shawnee Peak and many of the restaurants in the area are able to sit larger groups of people when notified in advanced.

The Deal - Shawnee Peak is less than an hour from Portland, ME. By car, from almost all points south (i.e. Boston, Portsmouth, Portland and North Conway) take US Route 302 West. Take a left on Mountain Road to Shawnee Peak. From points north follow I-95 to Exit 63, take a left onto Rte 115 to Route 302, then turn left onto Mountain Road.
