Skiing in Brian Head, Utah

Skiers all over the country dream of Utah's magnificent 400 inches of powder and the chance to ski it at one of the best resorts in the state: Brian Head. Brian Head has wisely set up one beginner park, one intermediate park and one advanced/expert park, each offering a large selection of terrain features, including hits, rails, funboxes and jumps so that each skill level can exercise their abilities to the utmost without worrying about slower or less skilled skiers getting in the way. When the advanced skiier wants to try out some tricks that will astound even the snowboarders, they can head to the awesome halfpipe and show them what free heelers can really do! Brian Head offers a great ski school with comprehensive lessons and courses for all discipline levels. Everyone from the littlest kids to the most experienced adults will find that they still have a lot to learn from Brian Head's expert instructors.

The Cedar City area is an outstanding winter playground in a state that is already renowned all over the world for its fantastic assortment of winter sports activities and resorts. You can visit Cedar Breaks where you will witness the most absolutely awe-inspiring colored rock formations to be seen anywhere outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. Cedar City is less than 20 miles from the incredible Zion National Park where you can start your exploration with Kolob Canyons and then go on to the rest of the magnificent park where you will witness spectacular natural wonders unlike anywhere else on the planet. Make sure to take the kids to see the amazing prehistoric cave art at Parowan Gap where the whole family will get a perspective on what life was like here tens of thousands of years ago. The Cedar Mountain East Fork Snowmobile Complex is the place to take the kids to enjoy some powerful snowmobiling along unspoiled meadows and valleys.

Cedar City is a truly family friendly town with very few wild watering holes. Some of the best places to chow down with the whole family include Rusty's Ranch House, Milt's Stage Stop, La Villa Mexican Food, Hunan Chinese Restaurant, Brickhouse Cafe, Adriana's Restaurant, Bristlecone Family Restaurant, Escobar's Mexican Restaurant, and All Star Deli. The kids will go absolutely wild for Summit's Sundance Tree Room Foundry Grill and Owl, which is just as quirky, crazy, funky and fun as it sounds!
