Riders Guide - Brighton is truly a memorable and wonderful Utah resort complete with hi-speed quads, more than 66 trails, 540 inches of annual snowfall, and massive fun. Riders and freestyle skiers of all ability levels will find suitable trails and terrain, 21% of the runs are rated for beginners, 40% for intermediates, and 39% for advanced. With such a wide variety of terrain, Brighton is a veritable winter haven. Skiers and boarders have nearly unlimited access to some of the most excellent backcountry in the state of Utah. Lifts, via the open boundary policy, provide a unique opportunity for alpine enthusiasts to enjoy the backcountry of two great mountains. Epic deals on lift tickets, lodging and more can be booked through the resort and many special discounts are offered throughout the season.

Parks and Pipes - Years before most resorts would even allow a snowboard onto their property, Brighton was developing terrain parks packed with great features to encourage an entire generation of snowboarders to take up the sport. In this case, Brighton proudly touts itself as a terrain park pioneer and to this day their parks remain some of the most impressive in the country. Big Bertha is a 30’-50’ tabletop that can launch snowboarders 50’ through the air. The superpipe is a complete monster, 500’ long with walls up to 14’. There are also dozens of other natural and manmade features on the run including some extremely challenging jumps, kickers, rails and tabletops. Head to the My-Oh-My section where you'll find three tabletops in a row, all with three different-sized lips which will get riders high into the air. Candy Land houses another dozen or so rails and boxes to play on perfect for intermediate boarders and freestyle skiers. There is also a beginner's park where neophytes can develop their skills on jumps, boxes, tabletops and rails suitable to their skill level.

Out of Bounds – Brighton and the surrounding area offer myriad activities during the winter season. For guests who want to speed through the famous Utah powder backed by some amazing horsepower should arrange a tour with Homestead Snowmobiling and Snowmobile Adventures at Thousand Peaks. Intermountain Guide Service takes guests into the backcountry on horseback or snowmobile. All Seasons Adventures organizes fantastic ice and rock climbing expeditions. In addition to these thrill-seeking options, Brighton and the area offers other adventures and exciting outdoor sports such as snowcatting, sledding, hot air ballooning, ice skating, four-wheeling and off-road driving, rock and ice climbing, and cross country skiing. Also, remember that Solitude Resort is nearby and offers its own unique brand of snowboarding thrills, chills and spills.

Hangout & Hookup - The closest big city to this resort is Salt Lake City and don't let anyone tell you that the city doesn't rock. There is an incredible amount of choices for nightlife destinations, there are live music venues, nightclubs, lounges, bars, pubs and dives. The after hours entertainment is typical of what can be found in any major city. Kristauf’s Social Club serves up over 100 varieties of Martinis and long-time favorite, Red Rocks Brewery offers up a delicious menu and impressive selection of in-house brewed ales and lagers.
