> Lookout Mountain Updates. Whiteface will open Lookout Mountain in December 2008, located between the Slides and Kids Kampus. An expert and intermediate trail were cut during the summer of 2007. One trail, a triple chair and snowmaking will service this new terrain. Lookout Mountain will have a vertical drop of 2,200 feet when completed. Click here to view the latest images.

> Freestyle World Cup returns to Whiteface on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009. Ski cross, an event that debuted on the World Cup tour last winter, makes its inaugural stop at Whiteface on the final day of the Martin Luther King weekend. The course will bring skiers down Lower Valley and has features similar to snowboardcross. The other freestyle event takes place on Sunday night, Jan. 18, with night aerials in Lake Placid...
